Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 27 August 2026
1. Who we are
RoadGuard is provided by Innocent Chidziva (the "seller", "we", "us"). By using RoadGuard you enter into a contract with Innocent Chidziva.
2. Acceptance
By continuing to access or use RoadGuard you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.
3. The service
RoadGuard is a driving-awareness app for UK drivers. It displays speed camera locations from OpenStreetMap open data (ODbL), shows your current speed, and — for RoadGuard Pro subscribers — surfaces live driver-reported hazards, mobile camera sites and police sightings, offline camera packs and an ad-free driving mode.
Camera locations and driver reports may be incomplete, out of date or inaccurate. RoadGuard is a driving aid only: you remain fully responsible for obeying speed limits, road signs and the law at all times. Never interact with the app while driving.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, including:
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose;
- Submitting false, fraudulent or spam reports;
- Infringing anyone's intellectual property rights;
- Interfering with the service's security, introducing malware, probing, scanning or scraping the service or its data;
- Reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service, or circumventing technical limits.
5. Intellectual property
We retain all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use RoadGuard within your selected plan. Map and camera data remain the property of OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database Licence.
6. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep it updated, and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
7. Payments and subscriptions
RoadGuard Pro is a paid subscription that renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. New subscribers receive a 14-day free trial; unless you cancel before the trial ends, your chosen plan renews automatically at the advertised price.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
8. Service availability
We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is provided "as is" and all implied warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose) are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When your access ends, your account data may be deleted after a reasonable period.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent via the support details shown in the app's Settings screen.
